The Waterberg District in the Limpopo Province is the undiscovered Gem of South African treasures, a land of intense beauty and color reflected in the environment and its people.

Over three million years of history has created a unique area which challenges the farmer, the adventurer and the investor.

  • The first section of the "W" implies forward thinking and motion, as well as mountains and subtle reference to animal horns.
  • In the centre of the "W" we find solidity, a platform for our progress, subtle reference to our distinct "Waterberg Hill"
  • The last curve of the "W" signifies our people, prosperity, our wealth and infrastructure.
  • The yellow centre of the "W" is our golden core and where our richness lies; it implies exciting beginnings using a subtle reference to birdlife - our nest of new life.
The font is rugged and pure, yet modern, natural and inviting. It encapsulates our Makapan Caves, artefacts, rock formations, magnificent landscapes and also our varied tribal cultures.
